Isnt' there more going on in the actual world worth talking about than the world of sports? (and isn't ESPN mostly american sports?) Is it the execution you object to or the premise? I'd argue that if the news stations had better content (read: better not: appealing to mass audiences) wouldnt 24-hour news stations be great? (BBC isnt nearly bad) i love espn. their spin on sports highlights and news is always interesting and fun…but I don’t get the premise exactly.
